Coat: Asos | Boots: Marc Fisher | Skirt: Blue Spero
It’s gotten pretty chilly here in Louisiana. It’s so rare that I have to pull out my heavy jackets and sometimes it can be hard to figure out what the best way to layer is. The most simple way to rock your coats is by layering with basic staple pieces. This will prevent you from over layering, and will prevent your outfit from clashing. I love layering with my Yummie bodysuit because it’s simple and gives a little tummy control as well. The material is also soft and temperature regulated so the long sleeves don’t get too hot underneath your heavy coat. As you all know, snake skin is totally in right now. I’m not into huge prints so I love how this skirt is very subtle and being that it is a neutral color it pairs really well with everything else but still adds a little spice to the overall look. And of course I love my thigh high boots! If you have a wide calf like me, this brand is perfect and has amazing options to choose from. What is your best tip for layering in the winter ?
